About offset printing in Dubai

Sheetfed offset is the volume workhorse. Ink is transferred from plate to blanket to sheet, which produces an even, dense lay-down that toner cannot match on large solids and long print runs. Above roughly 2,000 sheets the plate cost is absorbed and the unit price drops far below digital.

Our presses carry five units plus a coater, so a job can run four-colour process, one Pantone spot and an inline gloss or matt varnish in a single pass. That removes a second handling stage, keeps registration tight and shortens the schedule on catalogue and packaging work.

Colour is controlled with a spectrophotometer on press against G7 grey-balance targets and Fogra reference. We supply a wet proof on the production stock for brand-critical jobs so the approved sheet is literally the sheet the run is matched to.

Offset is the right call for annual reports, retail catalogues, folding-carton packaging, corporate stationery suites and any campaign where the same colour must repeat across multiple reprints through the year.

More about Offset Printing

Offset Printing at Printing Shop runs on five-colour sheetfed offset presses in our Al Quoz plant in Dubai. The floor exists for one reason: volume work where unit cost and colour consistency decide the job. Every job on this line is colour-managed to the same G7 targets as the rest of the building, so work can move between processes without a visible shift in brand colour.

Five-colour sheetfed presses for volume work where unit cost and colour consistency decide the job. Spot Pantone, metallic and varnish units run inline, so a 50,000-sheet order finishes in one pass. Our prepress team preflights every incoming file free of charge, checks bleed, resolution, spot colours and trapping, and returns a digital proof for approval before anything is committed to press. Colour-critical jobs can be proofed on the final substrate.

Most work on this line is delivered within two to five working days from approval, and rush slots are available when a deadline is fixed. Delivery is free across Dubai and next day to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and the Northern Emirates. Because print, finishing, packing and installation all sit under one roof, there is one team accountable for the schedule.

Send a brief through the quote form with your quantities, sizes and deadline, attach any artwork you already have, or push the same details to WhatsApp for a reply within two working hours. If you are still scoping the job, ask for a sample pack or a structural sample and we will get one to your office before you commit.

Offset Printing FAQs

When is offset printing cheaper than digital in Dubai?
Usually above 2,000 identical sheets. Below that, plate and make-ready costs dominate; above it, the running cost per sheet is a fraction of toner and the gap widens with quantity.
Can you print exact Pantone colours?
Yes. We mix Pantone inks in-house and run them on a dedicated unit, checked with a spectrophotometer against the reference book, so brand colours repeat across reprints rather than shifting between runs.
How long does a bulk offset print run take?
Plan on 4–7 working days from approved proof for standard brochures and catalogues, and 7–10 days where perfect binding or die-cut packaging follows the press.
Do you supply a physical proof before the run?
A calibrated contract proof is included. For brand-critical or packaging work we can also produce a wet proof on the actual production stock, which we recommend for anything with large solid brand areas.
